Faith Canvas Privacy Policy

Short version

Faith Canvas does not sell personal information, does not use third-party advertising, and does not include public chat or social posting. For the Google Play launch build, journal content, favorites, verse art, and settings stay on the device unless a family chooses to export data themselves.

Information the app may store or collect

• Journal entries, prayer notes, favorite verses, verse designs, app themes, and shop/customization choices created in the app.
• Basic technical server logs, such as IP address, request time, and error information, when the app contacts PidPod services.
• Support messages sent by email, including the contact information included in that email.
• Faith Canvas may ask for photo library permission only if the user chooses to save verse art or journal images to the device.
• Faith Canvas does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, or advertising tracking permissions for its core journaling features.

How information is used

• To save and reopen the user's journals, favorites, settings, and verse-art creations.
• To troubleshoot app problems, answer support requests, and keep the service reliable.
• To comply with legal, safety, platform, and security obligations.

Cloud Save and encryption

Cloud Save is not enabled in the Google Play launch build. Faith Canvas keeps saved app content on the device unless a family chooses to export data themselves. A future parent-approved Cloud Save flow may be added later and would be disclosed before release.

Families should avoid writing sensitive personal details in journal entries, including home addresses, school names, phone numbers, passwords, or private family information.

Children's privacy

Faith Canvas is intended to be age-appropriate for kids and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parent or guardian consent. Children should ask a parent or guardian before using Cloud Save or contacting support.

Parents and guardians may request review, deletion, or help with a child's information by emailing support@pidpod.com.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party advertising in Faith Canvas. We may share limited information only when needed to operate the service, respond to support requests, protect safety/security, comply with law, or work with service providers that help host or maintain PidPod services.

Data retention and deletion

Local app data remains on the user's device until it is deleted in the app or the app is removed. The Google Play launch build does not send journal content to Cloud Save.

The app includes a local reset control in Settings. Support and deletion questions can be sent to support@pidpod.com. Do not send private journal text, passwords, home addresses, school names, or other sensitive details by email.

Security

Faith Canvas uses reasonable safeguards intended to protect saved data. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so families should avoid writing sensitive personal details in journal entries.

International users

Faith Canvas and PidPod services are operated by Bumfuzzle Inc., a Tennessee corporation, from the United States. If the app is used outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other places where service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
